Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent that shear droop is made when a board is cut, so as to reduce the loss of material and to raise the yield, by constructing a board cutting slitter as setting a cut previously on each of both surfaces of the loard along a cutting line, and after that, cutting off this board. CONSTITUTION:In a slitter by which a board is dividably slit into two or several pieces along the longitudinal direction of the board, cutting tools 9 such as saws are set in front step of a cutting unit 8. A cut is set on each of both surfaces of the board 1 previously, along a cutting line, by the cutting tools 9. The depth of the slits is 5%-30% of the thickness of the board 1. Relative position or depth of the upper slit/the lower slit can be varied properly according to the kind of the board, as a knife gap of the shearing. In this way, the cutting tools 9 and the cutting unit 8 are set in order, along the advancing direction of the board 1, the slits are cut along the cutting line previously, and the board 1 is cut off by a shear. At this time, it is prevented that shear droop is made, thus the loss of material is reduced and the yield is raised.

Fig. 1 shows a constant rake down cut type, and when the plate 1 is fed in the direction of the arrow, the upper blade 2 and lower blade 3 move to slit the scissors plate 1. In this case, the upper blade 2 is driven by a crank 4 via a connecting rod 5. Figure 2 shows a rolling cut type. When the plate 1 is fed in the direction of the arrow, the curved upper blade 2 rolls over the lower blade 3 while slightly overlapping or with a slight gap between them. This is a so-called rolling cut. The movement is performed and the plate 1 is slit. In this case as well, crank 4 and connecting rod 5
The rolling cut of the upper blade 2 is driven by this. Furthermore, Fig. 3 shows a rotary cut type, and when the plate 1 is fed in the direction of the arrow, the upper blade 2 and lower blade 3 of the round blade rotate in synchronization with the speed of the plate 1, and the plate is slit. to read.

All the shears shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 perform the same shearing in principle, and follow the processes shown in FIGS. 4(a) to 4(c). FIG. 4(a) is a view taken along the line X-X in FIG. 3, and the plate 1 is cut into slits 1a and 1b by the upper blade 2 and lower blade 3 as shown in FIGS. 4(b) and 4(c). be divided. During this shearing process, a sag 6 is generated in the cut plate 1 as shown in FIG. 4(e). The reduction B in the board thickness due to this sag 6 is usually 10 to 20% of the board thickness, and the range A of the sag 6 also occurs to the same extent as the board thickness or about half the width.

Both the slit plates 1a and 1b are products and the sag 6
occurs in the length direction of both plates 1, and the plate thickness becomes thinner in that area, resulting in a loss area. For this reason, it was necessary to determine the width of the product to allow for 60 parts of the sag. Particularly when the plate thickness becomes thicker, the loss caused by this sag is large, and the yield of the plate as a product is poor.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, it is an object of the present invention to provide a cutting method using a slitter that prevents sagging caused by shearing and improves material loss and yield.

In FIG. 5, the cutting device 8 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3
A cutting device 9 such as No. is arranged at the front stage of the cutting device 9. The cutting device 8 may be of a constant rake down cut type, a rolling cut type, or a rotary cut type. The cutting device 9 is a device that makes a cut in advance along the cutting line of the board 1, and the depth of the cut is preferably about 5% to 30 inches of the board thickness, for example. The relative positions of the upper and lower cuts and the depth of the cuts may be varied as appropriate from plate to plate, such as the knife gap in shearing. In this way, the cutting device 9 along the traveling direction of the board 1
and cutting device 8 are arranged in this order, a cut is made in advance at the cutting line, and then the cut is cut by a shear.

FIG. 6 shows the cutting process, and is a view taken along the line Y--Y in FIG. 5. The plate 1 is first cut with a saw as shown in FIG. 6(a). Next, the cut position is cut as shown in FIG. 6 (bl (c) (di) by the cutting device 8,
Obtain two product boards 1a, lb. 5 Both product boards 1a,
lb, the plate surface is edged with the blade by a cut 10 made by the saw, and a sag 6 of width as shown in A and B in Fig. 4(e) is generated to prevent the plate from being pulled in by the blade during cutting. In actual cutting, a saw that normally has a slower cutting speed than a shear can be used at a cutting speed equivalent to that of a shear by making the depth of cut shallower. Furthermore, since the equivalent thickness of the plate 1 becomes thinner due to the incision of the plate 1 to be cut, the shisha with a small cutting force can also be made smaller. Although this example shows an example in which cuts are made on both the top and bottom sides of the plate 1, the present invention also naturally includes an example in which cuts are made only on the top surface, if for example, it is acceptable for some to occur on the product plate lb side. .

Furthermore, the key point of the present invention is to make an incision along the cutting line before cutting, and it does not matter whether the shear and no structure are integrated or split. In addition, there is no problem in making the incision using another incision device instead of the no.

As explained above, according to the present invention, a cut is made in advance to cut the edge between the plate surface and the blade, thereby eliminating tension, so that even if there is some loss, it will be minimal, and material loss and yield can be improved. Ta.
