[Technical Background of the Invention] In order to damp vibrations from an internal combustion engine and reduce noise caused by vibrations, an oil pan formed of laminated steel plates instead of the conventional single steel plate has been considered. . The laminated steel plates used to form this oil pan are made by stacking two SPC steel plates or the like with a thickness of about 0.8 mm one above the other, with a viscous resin 11''!'i interposed in the middle. This resin layer, which has a high viscosity, allows the mutual shear vibration of the steel plates while absorbing their kinetic energy.

By the way, as shown in Fig. 1, the oil pan 1 is equipped with a drain sheet 2 at its bottom for a drain plug 30 for draining oil and discharging dust. In this case, it is necessary to take measures to prevent peeling of the mounting part and to apply electricity for resistance welding. In other words, the end of the drain hole of the oil pan to remove the drain hole 1. It is exposed to the outside, and if this exposure; As a result, the soundproofing effect is attenuated and the strength is reduced.
Therefore, measures against peeling are required. In order to projection weld a drain sheet to an oil pan, a current is applied from the drain sheet to the oil pan in the thickness direction, but since the middle layer of the oil pan is an IC which is an electrical insulator, it is difficult to conduct current as it is. I can't. To solve this problem, it is necessary to take measures to energize the oil pan in advance.

Since A4 was applied, the sealing workability was poor and the seal 11 was unreliable. In addition, it is necessary to form the troublesome current-carrying sockets 1-0 before resistance welding the oil pans 1 and 1, which increases the number of man-hours for manufacturing the oil pans 1 and reduces productivity. The drawback was that it got worse.

[Objective of the Invention] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and its purpose is to insert the drain port 1 into the drain hole edge from both sides of the drain pan, instead of inserting the drain port 1 into one side of the drain hole edge. By inserting the drain sheet into the A-ile pan in a sandwiching manner, drain sheets 1 to 1 can be reliably attached (G), and the sealing space is enlarged to ensure extremely reliable sealing of the joint at the end of the drain hole. The object of the present invention is to obtain a structure for attaching a drain part of an oil pan.

Furthermore, it is an object of the present invention to ensure a current-carrying path for the welding sump by simply inserting a drain sheet into the edge of the drain hole of the oil pan, without having to take any measures to carry the electricity separately from the "removal" work. To provide a method for attaching a drain part of an oil pan that can suppress an increase in the number of man-hours for manufacturing the oil pan and improve production efficiency.

[Summary of the Invention 1 The present invention, which meets the above object, comprises a cylindrical portion, a mounting seat provided at the lower part of the cylindrical portion, and a mounting seat provided on the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion with a stepped mounting spaced apart from the seat at a predetermined interval. The drain sheet with the flange fixed is inserted into the drain hole of the oil pan molded from a laminated steel plate, the edge of the drain hole is sandwiched between the mounting seat and the flange, and the drain sheet is inserted between the mounting seat and the flange. The drain hole and the end of the drain hole are filled with a sealing material. This allows a large sealing space to be formed between the drain hole edge (= J seat and flange), and prevents a shortage of sealing material or
v Ii In addition to preventing the IEi from being exposed, the drain sheet should be supported on both sides instead of one side, so that the inserted drain sheet is not exposed to external force or vibration and may fall. I tried not to do that.

J. The present invention, which meets the above objectives, is easy to fit together even though the diameters are expanded, and after fitting,
Based on the knowledge that a strong connection is possible by a series of actions of reducing the diameter of one side and crimping it, and that a conductive path is secured by crimping the conductive part 4A, the structure was constructed as follows. This is what I did. That is, the diameter of the drain hole of a molded oil pan made of laminated steel plates is enlarged, and the mounting seat and flange are integrally mounted on the cylindrical portion in the enlarged drain hole of the oil pan. Insert a drain sheet filled with sealing material between the seat, the flange, and the cylindrical part, reduce the diameter of the drain hole so that the edge of the drain hole of the oil pan fits between the mounting seat and the flange, and then insert the drain sheet into the flange. The drain hole edge is held between the mounting seat and the flange by crimping, and then the mounting seat and the drain hole edge are welded.

Following this diameter reduction operation, the caulking bond 28 located above the collar 18 is lowered and the drain hole edge 19 is pushed in.
The flange 18 is tightened to prevent the flange 18 from being pinched between the flange 18 and the mounting seat 17. This crimping force causes the inner steel plate 11 to break through the intermediate synthetic resin layer with the tip of the flange 18, and the inner steel plate 11 to be attached to the outer steel plate 12.
It requires enough force to penetrate into the inside and outside of the device and form a current-carrying path between the inside and the outside.

(1) Since the Drain Seat 1 is attached to the Drain Seat 1 by sandwiching the edge of the drain hole between the Drain Seat Flange and the holder (q seat), the Drain Seat 1 is installed in a double-sided support groove structure, so the installation strength is only when supported on one side. The drain plug 17 will not rattle or fall off from the drain pan due to external force or vibration between the internal combustion points. The structure is such that a sealing material is filled between the mounting seat and the cylindrical part, so a large sealing space can be secured and the sealing of the joints, which is a problem especially when using F5 steel plate for the oil pan, is avoided. This can be done extremely reliably.

(2) By caulking the flange, an energizing path for welding is formed in the thickness direction of the oil pan, so energizing is required separately from the installation work that is particularly required when laminated steel plates are used for the oil pan. 7 II measures! ! This eliminates the need for oil pan manufacturing and reduces the number of man-hours required to manufacture the oil pan. Also, by adopting a method that allows for continuous operation of expanding and contracting the diameter of the drain hole and caulking the flange, workability is improved. The productivity of the Dodori oil pan is greatly improved.
