Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform automatic dust collecting operation with high reliability by simple circuit constitution without using a sensor, in an air purifier, by performing high speed operation at the beginning for a definite time before automatically changing over the same to lower speed operation. CONSTITUTION:The rotary speed of an electromotor 5 is changed over in the order of a high speed tape 23, an intermediate speed tap 24 and a low speed tap 25 by operating a movable contact piece 21 at every definite time by a time control part 11. The electromotor 5 rotates a blower blade and introduced dust such as smoke is sucked and collected by a dust collection part 10 and an anion generation part 12 by applying a high DC voltage to both parts from a high voltage part 13. By this mechanism, rapid and rough dust collection is performed by high speed operation at the beginning and, thereafter, precise dust collection is performed by low speed operation.

The rotational speed of the electric motor (5) is determined by rotating the movable contact piece (21) into a high-speed tap (22), a medium-speed tap (23), and a low-speed tap (
24) can be manually switched by the speed governor switch (8), and the movable contact piece (21) can also be automatically switched to the time control section <11. The time control unit (11) operates a relay (25) at regular intervals to move the movable contact piece (21> from the high speed tap (23) to the medium speed tap (24>) and from the medium speed tap (24). from the low speed tap (25) to the medium speed tap (25).
<24). The switching of each of the taps (23), (24), and (25) is performed according to a preset pattern. First, referring to the dust collection characteristics shown in Figure 4, the area of the dust collection part (10) is approximately 60 OCTI + 2 air purifier (1) in a six-tatami room with approximately 20 cigarettes smoked ( This state is smoke density 100

After 6 months, the dust collection efficiency decreases and the slope of the curve becomes gentler, reaching a steady state at about 10% and no longer being able to collect dust. This is because the dust collected in the dust collecting section (10) is re-dispersed by high-speed wind. Therefore, 15 minutes after the start of operation when the smoke concentration reaches approximately 50%, the high speed tap (23) is switched to the medium speed tap (24), and the smoke concentration reaches approximately 35%.
%, switch to low speed tap (25) after 20 minutes.

Then, as shown by the solid line, the curve is drawn without becoming gentle, and reaches a steady state at about 5%. The above-mentioned decrease in smoke density can be observed in a pattern that is almost constant over time without being measured by a sensor or the like. Therefore, in this embodiment, the time control section (11) controls the start of operation by the high-speed tap 2.
3), and automatically controls to switch to medium speed tap (24) after 15 minutes and to low speed tap (25) 25 minutes after the start of operation. After 60 minutes have passed since the start of operation, the pattern of operating at the low speed tap 25> for 30 minutes and then operating at the medium speed tap (24) for 10 minutes is repeated.

FIG. 5 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which the operation of the electric @ (5) is controlled by the high-speed tap (23) and the low-speed tap (23).
5), and the switching by the time control unit (11) is to operate with the high speed tap (23) for 20 minutes after the start of operation, and then operate with the low speed tap (25) until 70 minutes after the start of operation. After that, the pattern of operation is repeated for 40 minutes at the low speed tap (25), 10 minutes at the high speed tap 23), and then 40 minutes at the low speed tap (25). In order to achieve automation, a light switch (31) is connected in parallel with the stop switch (7), which is turned on when a certain amount of light or more is detected. The air purifier (1) starts operating when it senses an increase in the amount of light. It stops operating when the door falls or the shutters or curtains are closed, and starts operating at night when the lights are turned on. Furthermore, this embodiment incorporates a notification body (33) that is activated by a gas detection sensor (32).
If a gas leak occurs indoors, toxic gases such as Co, CO2, etc. increase indoors, or smoke suddenly increases, the sensor (32) detects this and issues a notification using a buzzer, light emitter, etc. The sensor (33) notifies the user of any abnormality. Also, while the air purifier (1) is in operation, the detection is carried out smoothly and quickly. The sensor (32)
is formed in a portion close to the suction port of the air cleaner (1).

Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments. The operation pattern by the time control section (11) changes depending on various factors such as the area of the dust collection section (10), the operating speed of the electric motor (5), and the volume of the room to be used, and is determined to be the optimum operation pattern at the time of design. In that case, at least initially, it is necessary to operate at high speed for a certain period of time. Also, if it is possible to change the optimal pattern with a switch depending on the volume usage state of the room, it will be possible to set the optimal concentration for use. Dust efficiency is obtained.
