Claims

This is a sealing device that seals the fitting between a fixed member 2 and a rotating member 1 that rotate relative to each other, and includes a fixed part 5 fixed to the fixed member 2 and a side surface 9 extending approximately radially from the fixed part 5. A fixed ring 4 having a radial portion 6 and an axial portion 7 extending substantially axially from the radial portion 6 and provided with a circumferential surface 10, a fitting portion 12 fixed to the rotating member 1, and the fitting. A rotary seal ring 11 is provided with an annular seal lip 13 made of a rubber-like elastic material whose one end is fixed to the fitting portion 12 side and extends substantially in the axial direction. The main seal part 15 has a main seal part 15 and a whisker lip 16 extending substantially in the axial direction at the free end, and the main seal part 15 is fitted into contact with the circumferential surface 10 of the axial part 7 of the fixing member 2.
