Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a water-proofing sheet in high working efficiency, by using a specific vulcanized rubber sheet and a thermoplastic elastomer sheet, and bonding the sheets firmly, uniformly and easily with a hot jet gun on-site. CONSTITUTION:A vulcanized rubber sheet containing an ethylene-propylene terpolymer and a butyl rubber at a blend ratio of 60/40-100/0 is bonded with a thermoplastic elastomer sheet, or a pair of the vulcanized rubber sheets are bonded together interposing said elastomer sheet therebetween. The bonding is carried out by sandwiching the elastomer sheet with the vulcanized rubber sheets, and hot-pressing the laminate using a hot jet gun. The temperature of the hot jet is 400-600 deg.C, the speed of the gun is 1-4m/min, and the pressure applied by the press roll is 5-10kg/cm.

Traditionally, concrete asphalt has been mainly used as a water-shielding lining material for reservoirs, etc., but recently vulcanized rubber sheets have been used as a material with a large amount of strain, good weather resistance, and the ability to follow the movement of the substrate. It has become widely used.

However, due to the manufacturing technology of vulcanized rubber sheets, there are dimensional restrictions on the manufacturing equipment, and the length can be longer (2.
Even if it is about 00 m), the width is about 6 to 10 m. Therefore, such vulcanized rubber sheets were transported to the construction site, and the vulcanized rubber sheets were joined together at the construction site.

However, although there have been various methods for preventing water leakage at the joint, there is no definitive method, and methods using adhesives and methods using unvulcanized rubber are mainly employed.

Methods using adhesives result in uneven adhesion, as a uniform film cannot be formed, and the adhesive strength varies greatly depending on how the open time is taken.Another decisive drawback is that the material may not be as good as it is. However, it is extremely difficult to guarantee the desired adhesion strength and water-shielding function, as the adhesion condition is greatly influenced by the ability of the installer.

There is a method of spot curing by heating to 200°C and applying pressure of ioo to 150 kg/cJ (see Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-5459), but in this case it is necessary to bring a vulcanizer to the construction site, and the high temperature Unless the adhesive is vulcanized at high pressure, the target adhesive force cannot be obtained, and furthermore, it takes a lot of time and is inefficient.

The present invention aims to improve these points, and its purpose is to increase work efficiency, increase the adhesion between vulcanized rubber sheets or between vulcanized rubber sheets and thermoplastic elastomer sheets, and achieve adhesion with less variation. It provides a bonding method that obtains force, and its feature is that ethylene is used as the vulcanized rubber sheet in bonding vulcanized rubber sheets together or vulcanized rubber sheets and thermoplastic elastomer sheets.

After that, a hot air welding machine with a rotatable pressure roll and a hot air device is placed on the adhesive tape (3), and while blowing hot air of approximately 400 to 600°C onto the surface of the adhesive material (3), the pressure roll is used to bond the adhesive. The material (3) is rolled into a vulcanized rubber sheet (11+l) and the vulcanized rubber sheet +11 (11 pieces are joined together).

In addition, the thermoplastic elastomers used in the present invention include ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber, ethylene-propylene-non-coat diene rubber, and ethylene-butadiene copolymer rubber. Rubbers that are amorphous random elastic copolymers mainly composed of olefins, such as composite rubbers, which are crosslinked by mixing with peroxide and kneading under heating, resulting in decreased fluidity or no longer flowing, and such rubbers. polyethylene,

Further, when joining the vulcanized rubber sheet and the thermoplastic elastomer sheet, the most rational means is to melt the thermoplastic elastomer sheet, and for this reason, it is preferable to use a hot air welder. When using a hot air welding machine, the hot air temperature should be 400 to 600°C, the free running speed should be 1 to 4 m/min, and the pressure of the pressure roll should be 5 to 10 kg/cm. Alternatively, the pressure roll and the hot air device may be prepared separately, and the worker may carry out the bonding work by holding the hot air device in one hand and the pressure roll in the other hand.

次に、本発明の具体的実施例について説明する。Next, specific examples of the present invention will be described.
