CONSTITUTION:A hood ridge 11 is provided at a front end part 11a with a flange part 11b welded to a back 12a of a radiator core support 12. A central part 11c in a vertical direction of the hood ridge 11 is bent in a swelling extending outwardly in the direction of the width of a car in a manner that the flange part 11b extends across between two mounting parts A and B. The flange part 11b is joined with the radiator core support 12 by spot welding.
