切削バリ14を取り除くため第3図に示すワーク1の凸
部間15(凹部)の形状に対応して形成されたパリ取り
カッター3を用い、パリ取りカッター3の突起部31を
ワーク1の凸部間15に押し込むことにより、切削バリ
14が形成された凸部11の一方側面の切削パリ形成面
16に形成された切削バリ14を除去していた。しかる
に従来のパリ取りカッター3のパリ取り結果は、第4図
に示す如くワーク1に形成された凸部11および凸部間
15の加工のバラツキを考慮し、パリ取りカッター3の
突起部31をワーク1の凸部間15に挿入さゼるべく設
けられた突起部31と凸部11との間に生じるクリアラ
ンス量Aにより、クリアランスiiAの切削バリ14を
除去することができなかった。また凸部11および凸部
間15の加工バラツキのため除去状態を均一にするのは
困難で、加工バラツキとクリアランスHAにより切削バ
リ14を全く除去しない場合が生ずるなど問題点を有し
