Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the space of a transfer paper supply device in a compact size, by moving a single paper supply device with respect to a plurality of copying paper storing sections. CONSTITUTION:In association with a selection signal, a paper supply device 3 is raised through a wire 4 by driving a motor up to a position higher than a selected tray 7, and is stopped there. After a tray 7 is pushed out by means of a cam 9 the paper supply device 3 is lowered down to the level position of the selected tray 7 to make a pick-up roller 15 on the paper supply device 3 side in contact with a transfer paper P in the tray 7 to set up a condition in which copying is possible. In this condition, a copying button is depressed to drive rollers in the paper supply device 3 by means of a drive device to feed papers P in the tray 7 one by one.
