Claims

The front cover 7 that closes the front side of the main body case 1 is attached to the pivot 11.
It has a torsion coil spring 12 which is pivotally mounted around the cylindrical coil part 12a so that it can be opened and closed, and which biases the front cover 7 to rotate in the closed position. The cylindrical coil portion 12a is fitted onto the outer periphery of a spring seat 24 formed on the pivot shaft 11, and one extending arm 12 is provided at a rear portion of the pivot shaft 11 on the main body case 1 side. The other extending arm 12c is supported by a spring receiver 26 provided in front of the pivot 11 on the side of the front lid 7, and the spring receiver 24 is rotated when the front lid 7 opens. A tape cartridge characterized in that the coil spring 12 is eccentrically formed in a direction opposite to the direction of the load applied to the extending arm 12b.
