Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) A spherical valve body having a notched groove with parallel side walls orthogonal to the passage hole is housed in the valve box, and an engaging pawl with parallel side surfaces at the lower end of the valve rod is connected to the notched groove. In a ball valve that fits into a groove and rotates the spherical valve body around a vertical axis by holding a valve stem, both side walls of the notched groove and each side surface of the engaging claw facing each side wall. A ball valve characterized in that a required gap is provided between the two, and a cushioning material is interposed in the gap.

(2) The ball valve according to claim (1), in which at least one of the spherical valve body and the valve stem is made of engineering ceramic.

(3) The ball valve according to claim (2), wherein the engineering ceramic is alumina or zirconia.

(4) The ball valve according to any one of claims (1) to (3), wherein the cushioning material is fixed to the engaging pawl.

(5) The ball valve according to any one of claims (1) to (3), wherein the buffer material is fixed to the side wall of the spherical valve body.
