第１図は従来構造の液晶パネルの図、第２図は従来技術
で大面積化を実施した一例を示す液晶パネルの図、第３
図と第４図および第５図と第６図はそれぞれ本考案の実
施例における液晶パネルの模式正面図と断面図である。 第１図において１１および１２は電極、１３は接着剤層
である。第２図において１３は接着剤層、２１は固定枠
である。第３図および第４図において３１は一枚の支持
基板、３２，３３，３４．３５は複数の基板、３６は複
数の基板をその側面で接続する接着剤の薄層、３７はガ
ラスファイバースペーサー、３８は対向する基板間の接
着剤層、４１，４２，４３．４４，４５は電極群である
。第５図および第６図において、５１は一枚の支持基板
、５２，５３．５４．５５は複数の基板、５６は複数の
基板をその側面で接続する接着剤の薄層、５７はガラス
ファイバースペーサー、５８は対向する基板間の接着剤
層、５９は電極端子、６１は電極、７０はスイッチング
素子、７１は画素電極、７２はゲートバス、７３はドレ
インバスである。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 相対向する二枚の電極付支持基板の間隙に液晶物質を挾
    持してなる液晶パネルにおいて、前記電極付支持基板の
    少なくとも一枚が複数枚の基板をその側面で接続して一
    枚の電極付支持基板とした構造であることを特徴とする
    液晶パネル。
