とから威り、前室1には噴孔5を取り囲んで冷却水通路
8が穿設された水冷式予燃焼室において、該冷却水通路
8の流入口9と吐出口16とを前室1の外周壁面15に
垂直に穿設し、該流入口9および吐出口16の開口の周
辺に、シール材を嵌入するための環状の溝17.18を
、これら開口と間隔をおいて同心円状に夫々穿設し、こ
の溝17.18に環状のシール材14を嵌入して予燃焼
室をシリンダヘッド6に取付けるようにした点を特長と
するものである。
