化された食品は同フード5からの冷気をうけて一25℃
〜−30°Cに冷凍される。この第一段階で冷凍された
粒状食品7は、第二の冷凍フード51の位置で再度はぐ
し押え延ばされ冷凍される。この工程を第三、第四の冷
凍フード52.53の位置で繰り返すことによって、仮
に処理食品が粘性を持ち、かつ均一化し難いものであっ
ても次第に塊状であった粒状食品7はばらばらの個々の
粒状体にほぐされ、他端部出口付近では塊状物はなくな
り各粒が分離して均一に混じり合った冷凍物を得ること
ができる。
