Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the removable attachment of a chain to a tire by providing a groove having a proper dimension and making a round of the outer periphery in the ground contact surface of the tire and inserting a chain into the groove to utilize the expansion property of tire rubber. CONSTITUTION:A groove 1 having the width and depth dimensioned to conform to the size of a chain 2 is provided to make a round of the ground contact of a tire. And the chain 2 is inserted into the groove 1 with a proper pressure and mounted therein. Or a chain 3 having the width corresponding to that of both shoulders 4 of the tire is put on the tire with a proper force to sandwich the both shoulders 4 of the tire. Thus, the chain can be easily removably attached to the tire.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the structure of a tire to which a tire chain is attached.In conventional tires, the chain is sandwiched between two tires arranged side by side, or in a tire groove. This tire is designed to do these things because there is nothing to hold it between the tires. Now, to explain the structure with the help of a diagram, a groove (1) with a width and depth corresponding to the size of the chain is formed on the tire contact surface once in the circumferential direction. It has a structure in which the chain (2) is inserted with moderate pressure and rotated around once, and then removed. [Claims] A rubber tire for a vehicle is a tire to which a chain is attached by making use of the elasticity of rubber, or by being caught in the chain, and there is a tire on the outer periphery of the tire that touches the ground.
