In FIG. 1, a laser beam emitted from a semiconductor element 1 passes through a collimator lens 2, a grating 3, and a polarizing beam splitter 4.
The light passes through a four-wavelength plate 5 and a fixed mirror 6, and is focused onto a disk 11 by an objective lens 8 attached to an optical system tube 7. The laser beam reflected from the disk 11 passes through an objective lens 8, a fixed mirror 6, a quarter wavelength plate 5, a beam splitter 4, and a cylindrical lens 9, and is converted into an electrical signal by a detector 10. The problem here is that the objective lens 8 has no choice but to be exposed outside the optical system case 12.
There is a 5-9 inch mark on the lens surface. Since the attached dust scatters a portion of the laser light, the amount of laser light transmitted through the objective lens 8 is reduced, and the electrical signal output obtained from the detector 10 is reduced.

Conventionally, as a method for removing this lump, a method has been used in which the surface of the objective lens 8 is wiped with a cotton cloth. However, such conventional methods have to be carried out manually on a regular basis, which is cumbersome, and it is difficult to automatically remove dust on the lens surface when the player is used.

In the optical disc player, a brush is provided for cleaning the objective lens of the reading device, and the brush is linked with the movement of the disc loading table when the disc is removed;
Further, the brush is brought into contact with the surface of the objective lens when the disk loading table is stored or taken out.

This shows the state in the process of being taken out. table 13
In the storage process, the front surface 13a of the table 13 comes into contact with the brush holder 16, and the brush holder 16 is pushed in the direction of the arrow Δ. At this time, the brush holder 16 is
8 is pressed against the front surface 13a of the retable 13. When the brush holder 16 passes over the objective lens 8 at the reading position '3A, the brush 15 lightly contacts the surface of the objective lens 8, and dust on the lens surface is removed. In the process of taking out the table 13, the direction of movement is simply reversed, and the same cleaning is performed.
