    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 鋳造用金型のキャビティを通過する金属溶湯と接触可能
    に配設した電極と、この電極を保持しかつ周囲の金型か
    ら電気的に絶縁する碍子と、上記碍子を内部に保持する
    と共に金型に保持される金属ケースとからなり、溶湯が
    電極に触れたときの電気的短絡により金属溶湯の到達を
    検出する溶湯感知センサにおいて、金属ケースの内周面
    をキャビティ側の方向にいくにしたがい内径が次第に縮
    小するテーパー面に形成すると共に碍子外周面に対応テ
    ーパーを形成して互いに嵌合保持することを特徴とする
    溶湯感知センサ。
