An electromagnetic safety valve 3 is interposed in the fuel supply path 2 to the burner 1, and a thermoelectric generating element 4 heated by the burner 1 is connected to the solenoid 3a of the electromagnetic safety valve 3, thereby providing a drive circuit 5 for the electromagnetic safety valve 3.
A capacitor is connected to the power battery 6 to be charged when the combustor is not in use, and is connected to the solenoid 3a via the first changeover switch 7 to keep the electromagnetic safety valve 3 open for a certain period of time when the combustor is in use. 8, and an abnormality detection circuit 10 which has an abnormality detection element 9 that becomes conductive when there is an abnormality in the CO sensor or the like, and applies a voltage of opposite polarity to the thermoelectric generator 4 to the solenoid 3a when the abnormality detection element 9 is conductive. A second connection circuit 13 is connected to the end of the capacitor 8, and a second changeover switch 14 is provided to selectively connect the second connection circuit 13 and the other pole of the capacitor 8 to the other pole of the power supply battery 6. When the combustor is not in use, the other pole of the capacitor 8 and when in use, the second connection circuit 13 is connected to the other pole of the power supply battery 6, and the first connection circuit 12 or the second connection circuit is connected to the other pole of the power supply battery 6.
