[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] This proposal is a forging method for producing segment sprockets by die forging a forged metal material. Conventional forging methods for segment sprockets include horizontal and vertical forging methods. Fig. 1 is a plan view of the five-tooth forged product using the cross member type, Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along line B-B',
FIG. 3 is a plan view of the vertical member type bolt structure, and FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line CC'. As can be seen from the external appearance and cross-sectional views shown in Figures 1 to 4, conventional forged segment and sprocket products have the disadvantage that they require multiple machining processes before they can be used as machine parts. be. This is a forging method devised for the purpose of reducing the cost of the product by eliminating as much as possible the multi-step machining process required to turn the forged product into a machine part. In the segment sprocket die forging method according to the present invention, the die forging process, the trimming straightening process, and the coining process are sequentially performed to form holes, and each process is hot-treated. The three methods can be roughly divided into the first method, which is a work process that combines a die forging process and a trimming straightening process, and the second method, which is a hot coining process that precisely finishes the forged product produced in this process. The segment sprocket forging method within the scope of this utility model registration claim falls under the above-mentioned first method. FIG. 5 is a plan view of the segment sprocket die forging according to the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a sectional view taken along line DD'. The engraving direction of the die used in the forging process is as shown in Fig. 6 (
The tooth surface 2 is made parallel to the surplus surface 9. However, since the tooth patterns 26 and 27 on both end faces and the opposite draft angle on both end faces 4 and 5, the arc 3 of the regular size of the sprocket is expanded to the range where the draft angle is formed. In other words, the proposed forging method involves punching and forging a forged metal material in an expanded circular arc die, and then converting the forged product into a forged product with regular dimensions using a regular-size die in a hot trimming and straightening process. A construction method characterized by straightening.
