Abstract

BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, a draft manuscript is created by pasting a manuscript of an arbitrary size, including a passenger car, a picture, etc., onto a white mount using an adhesive such as glue. However, at the boundary between the mount and the original to be pasted, a light shadow is created during illumination, and the shadowed portion becomes a so-called pasting mark, resulting in insufficient illumination. As far as PS printing plates are concerned, it is necessary to use an erasing pen or a brush dipped in erasing liquid to erase pasting marks after plate making, which is a very time-consuming and complicated process. There was a big problem.

The inventor of the present invention has made repeated studies in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the prior art, and has created a pasting document using an adhesive containing a white pigment in such a way that the adhesive protrudes from the periphery of the pasting document. When we made a plate using the draft manuscript, we discovered that no pasting marks appeared on the plate or printed matter.

The present invention is a method for creating a draft manuscript by gluing a manuscript of any size on a white mount with an adhesive, in which an adhesive containing a white pigment is used, and the adhesive is applied to the periphery of the manuscript to be pasted. When the draft manuscript obtained by the present invention is made into a plate using a general printing sensitive material or an electrophotographic sensitive material, the adhesive protrudes from the pasted manuscript during plate making, so the white pigment contained in the adhesive protrudes from the pasted manuscript during plate making. This causes diffuse reflection of light, and when illuminated, the shadow of the light on the edge of the pasted manuscript fades and almost disappears, leaving no trace of pasting on the plate material, and therefore printing using such a plate material. In this case, it is possible to provide printed matter without pasting marks.

Example 1 A small piece of photographic paper with a thickness of 350 μm on which an image had been printed and developed was adhered onto a printing board using an adhesive having the following formulation. In this case, the adhesive was allowed to protrude outside the periphery of the photographic paper in a width of 1 U.

When this was used as a draft manuscript to make and print using an electrophotographic direct plate making machine ELP-280 manufactured by Fuji Film Co., Ltd., no so-called pasting marks caused by shadows caused by lighting were printed around the pasted photographic paper.
