  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 内部水冷銅板鋳型と、その下方に立設し前記鋳型から引
    き抜いた鋼塊の側面を支持する鋼塊側面支持体と、前記
    鋼塊を冷却するスプレーノズルと、前記鋼塊側面支持体
    が囲繞した空間内を昇降し前記鋼塊底面を支持する底板
    と、を有して成る大型鋼塊の鋳造装置において、前記鋼
    塊側面支持体はロール胴長Ｗとロール直径りとの関係が
    下記式を満足する分割ロールから成り、かつ該分割ロー
    ルが千鳥状に配置されていることを特徴とする大型鋼塊
