[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention forms a soft layer 3 at the tips of both side pieces 2 of a U-shaped member 1 made of a transparent or translucent material and has a substantially U-shaped cross section. This relates to a double-glazed window that is formed by pressing against the surface of the U-shaped member 1 and forming an air layer 5 between the U-shaped member 1 and the window glass 4, and its purpose is usually for the U-shaped window glass whose surface has many undulations. The mold material can be firmly attached,
To provide double-glazed windows that can be easily configured using existing windows.

The U-shaped material 1 is made of a transparent or translucent material, such as extruded synthetic resin such as acrylic or styrene, or glass, and is shaped into a U-shaped cross section with an arbitrary size. An appropriate number of U-shaped members 1 are placed on the entire surface of either the indoor or outdoor side of the window glass 4, and the side pieces 2 are closely attached to the window glass 4 to connect the window glass 4 and the U-shaped members 1. It forms an air layer 5 in between that is cut off from the outside air to insulate the inside and outside of the room in an adiabatic manner, and a soft layer 3 made of synthetic resin such as soft PVC is provided at the tip of the side piece 2 along the entire length in the longitudinal direction. It is a provision.

By the way, the surface of the window glass 4 is usually not finished evenly, but has many undulations, and by pressing the above-mentioned soft layer 3 onto the surface of the window glass 4, the soft layer 3 can be applied to the window glass. The side piece 2 is brought into close contact with the window glass 4 by absorbing the unevenness of the 4 surface.

Here, an adhesive layer 6 covered with a release paper 5 is provided on the tip surface of the soft layer 3, and by peeling off the release paper 5 on site, the side piece 2 can be adhered to the window glass 4 by the adhesive layer 6. The lever U-shaped member 1 can be easily fixed.

Here, the U-shaped members 1 may be aligned vertically as shown in the figure, or may be aligned horizontally and attached to the window glass 4.
In this case, the openings at both ends of the U-shaped member 1 are connected to the vertical frame 7 of the window glass 4.
The inside of the U-shaped material 1 is sealed by closing it with a horizontal stile 8, or a lid 9 is attached between the pieces 2 and 2 at both ends of the U-shaped material 1 to create a sealed air layer 5 inside the U-shaped material 1. It forms the

Here, the outer surfaces of the side pieces 2 of each U-shaped member 1 are brought into close contact with each other,
For example, as shown in FIG. 6, a convex strip 10 provided on the outer surface of the side piece 2 of one U-shaped member 1 is fitted into a grooved strip 11 provided on the outer surface of the side piece 2 of the other U-shaped member 1. 1 are connected to each other and attached to the window glass 4 in a plurality of rows, and a plurality of mutually independent air layers 5 are formed on the surface of the window glass 42. Therefore, a portion of the air layer 5 may be damaged by sunlight or the like. 5
When heated, the air inside expands and distortion may occur in the U-shaped material 1 at that part, but as shown in FIG. By disposing the U-shaped material 1a with the layer 3a on the surface of the window glass 4 other than the end portions, and attaching the above-mentioned U-shaped material 1 to the end portions, an air layer 5 formed by the U-shaped material 1a can be created. Even though the air inside is completely cut off from the outside by the U-shaped member 1 at the end, it can pass in and out of the adjacent air layer 5, albeit slightly, through the foamed synthetic resin layer 3a.
The foamed synthetic resin layer 3a acts as a regulating valve to alleviate the pressure difference that occurs in each air layer 5 due to the temperature difference, thereby preventing the local generation of thermal stress.

Also, since the air layer 5 is filled with normal indoor air, condensation may occur inside the air layer 5 due to temperature differences, but if only the U-shaped member 1a is attached to the window glass 4, , air layer 5 to the extent that the heat insulation effect of air layer 5 is not impaired.
The air inside is now in communication with the outside air very slightly, which makes it possible to remove the moisture in the air layer 5.
This prevents dew condensation from forming within the air layer 5.

In order to further enhance the heat insulation effect of the double-glazed windows obtained in this way, a translucent metal thin film 12 obtained by vapor-depositing aluminum, for example, is formed on the surface of the U-shaped member 1, as shown in FIG. The metal thin film 12 allows external light to pass through, but the radiant heat rays are blocked by the U-shaped member 1 and the window glass 4.
This metal thin film 12 can prevent radiant heat from penetrating into the air layer 5 formed between the U-shaped material 1 and the heat insulating effect.
The metal thin film 12 may be attached to the inner surface of the window glass 4 or the surface of the window glass 4 to which the U-shaped member 1 is attached to prevent the metal thin film 12 from peeling off due to scratching or the like.

Although the above embodiment shows an example in which the U-shaped member 1 is attached to one side of the window glass 4, the present invention is not necessarily limited to this, and may be attached to both sides of the window glass 4. Two independent air layers having a heat insulating effect may be provided on both sides of the window glass 4, thereby further enhancing the heat insulating effect.

As described above, the present invention forms a soft layer on the tips of both sides of the U-shaped material and presses it against the window glass surface, so by attaching the U-shaped material to the window glass, Not only can double-glazed windows be easily formed by using windows as they are, but the U-shaped material can be brought into close contact with the window glass by absorbing the many unevenness that exists on the surface of the window glass with a soft layer. This has the advantage that the air layer formed between the window glass and the U-shaped member can be completely isolated from the outside, increasing the heat insulation effect of the air layer.
