It is preferable to do so. but,
The disadvantage of constructing a new offshore facility, whether it is a reclaimed or floating type, is that it requires a large investment.

Existing large tanker (used tanker) moored by
(3) and the upper deck (3a) of these large tankers (3)
A plurality of buffer members (4) are arranged continuously over the top and provided on both sides of each upper deck (3a).
It consists of a long flight deck (5) supported by a large tanker (3), and a large number of floating breakwaters (6) moored around the entire periphery of these large tankers (3). As shown in FIG. 4, the buffer member (4) consists of a cylinder (7) fixed at a predetermined position on the upper deck (3a), and a cylinder (7) inserted into the cylinder (7) on the flight deck (3a). 5) and a strong compression spring (9) that supports the support column (8). The buffer member (4) is intended to absorb the shaking of the ship due to small waves that cannot be prevented even by the floating wave bank (6), and to prevent almost any external force from acting on the flight deck (5). Although not shown, a given large tanker (3) is equipped with various facilities such as ψ plates for aircraft maintenance and storage, a fuel tank, an elevator, and a control tower.

First, unnecessary items are removed from the existing large tanker (3) at a predetermined location (for example, inside the dock), and a buffer member (4) is installed on the upper deck (3a). And the upper deck (3a
), the flight deck (
A large tanker (slightly longer than a ship) (5) is supported. A plurality of such ships will be built, and certain of them will be equipped with the above-mentioned facilities (decks, fuel tanks, elevators, control towers, etc.). next,
A plurality of large tankers (3) with the flight decks (5) supported above are towed to a predetermined sea area, lined up in series, moored by mooring devices (2), and then floated around the entire circumference. A large number of wave-dissipating banks (6) are arranged and moored. And finally,
By connecting the opposing ends of each flight deck (5) supported in a divided state, a sea airport can be installed extremely easily and at low cost.
