Claims

This is an opening/closing device for a compact container 1' in which a container body 2 and a lid 3 are hingedly connected to each other so as to be openable and closable, and an elastically deformable engaged body 9 is attached to the front end of the body 2. A contact portion 11 extends forward along the lower surface of the lid 3, and a pressing portion 12 extends from the front end of the contact portion 11.
By the pressing operation, the abutment part 11 is elastically restored into an upwardly bulging shape so as to be brought into contact with the lower surface of the lid body 3 in a pushed-up shape.
The lid body 3 is provided with a locking portion 8 that engages with the locking portion 8 to restrain the opening and closing of the lid body 3, and is released from the engagement when the abutting portion 11 pushes up against the lower surface of the lid body 3.
