Claims

Bushings are penetrated and fixed to the switch case so as to face each other for each phase, and a fixed electrode is fixed to the inner end of a conductive rod inserted into one bushing, and a conductive rod inserted into the other bushing is fixed. A movable contact blade in the shape of a straight blade is rotatably attached to the inner end of the rod and can be moved toward and away from the fixed electrode, and an arc extinguishing chamber that covers the fixed electrode is fixed to the inner end of the conductive rod of one bushing. The arc extinguishing chamber is composed of a fixed electrode storage chamber that stores the fixed electrode, and an arc extinguishing slit chamber that communicates with the fixed electrode storage chamber and performs slit arc extinguishing. The end of the movable contact blade in the fixed electrode storage chamber on the insertion direction side and the side part on the insertion direction side are connected obliquely so that the side surface area of the movable contact blade in the arc extinguishing slit chamber is increased.
