、受光器8を照射する。いま磁気コンパス本体を水平に
回転させ常に北指する指針4と文字盤の北の位置にある
受光器8が重なり合ったとき光線は遮断されCdsセル
の電気抵抗値が増大する。これによりトランジスタ10
に電流が流れリレー11の常時開放接点が閉じこれに接
続されているブザー14が鳴動する。このブザー音によ
り盲人ははじめて指針4と受光器8の位置が合致した事
を知り、」−蓋に示された東西南北を示す点字により方
