PURPOSE:To enable a sheet to be reused and to prevent the sheet from being impregnated unevenly with resin by equipping an air-escape roll or an air-escape plate on the upper surface of the laminated sheets between impregnation rolls and an air-escape plate under the lower surface thereof respectively. CONSTITUTION:The reinforced fibers 1 in the form of strand are supplied in parallel with each other and in the form of sheet and put on the resin surface of the lower resin carrying sheet 3. Then, the upper resin carrying sheet 7 is supplied, the resin surface side is put on the upper side of the sheetlike reinforced fiber to provide a laminated substance 8. The air-escape rolls 11-13 are equipped between the impregnation rolls 9, 9 and 10, 10, and on the upper side of the laminated substance 8 and the air-escape plates 14 is equipped on the lower side the laminated substance 8. Air in the large air reservoir is scattered to make small voids.

The present invention, which achieves the above object, is an impregnated roll in which sheets, at least one of which is a resin-supported sheet, are superimposed on both sides of a sheet-like reinforcing fiber, and such superimposed bodies are provided in multiple stages in the direction of transport. In a prepreg manufacturing apparatus in which resin is transferred and impregnated into reinforcing fibers by heating and pressurizing, an air pocket prevention roll or an air pocket prevention plate is placed between the impregnating rolls and on the upper surface side of the stacked body, and on the lower surface side. The device is characterized in that an air pocket prevention plate is provided on each of the sides.
