A cylindrical housing, a discharge port fitted in the housing and discharging compressed fluid from a pump chamber provided inside the housing, and a discharge port provided on the outer wall, and a protrusion integrally formed on the outer wall on both sides of the discharge port in the circumferential direction. A cylindrical cam ring is formed along the axial direction, a front plate and a rear plate are respectively fixed to both ends of the cam ring in the axial direction, and an oil separator is attached to the rear plate. In a vane-type rotary compressor, a discharge chamber is defined between a front plate and a rear plate by an inner wall of the housing and an outer wall of a cam ring, and a discharge chamber communicates with the pump chamber through the through hole and into the oil separator through the through hole. A vane type rotary compressor, characterized in that a pair of ribs protruding from the inner wall of the housing along the axial direction are provided in close contact with each of the protrusions.
