    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 定着ローラと、前記定着ローラに圧接して回転する弾性
    材を被覆した加圧ローラと、前記両ローラの圧接部出口
    付近の前記定着ローラ表面に先端部を接触させて設けら
    れた分離爪とを備え、前記両ローラ間に未定着のトナー
    像を有する転写紙を通過させて前記トナー像の定着を行
    なう熱ローラ定着装置であって、前記両ローラの圧接中
    心点から前記分離爪先端部と前記定着ローラとの接触点
    までの円弧の長さをＣとし、前記定着ローラの線速度を
    Ｖとしたとき、Ｃ／Ｖ≧０．０８になるように前記分離
    爪の先端位置を定めた熱ローラ定着装置。
