Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent relay of a service channel by reinserting a service channel from a reception system generating an alarm to a transmission system of the system in a relay station where a squelch alarm takes place. CONSTITUTION:A relay station consists of the 1st the 2nd lines, antennas 10a, 10b (suffixes a, b indicate the 1st and the 2nd system respectively), receivers 12a, 12b, transmitters 13a, 13b and tranmission antennas 11a, 11b. Service channel signals 14a, 14b are transmitted from the receivers 12a, 12b and the signals are switched by an SW100, branched (102) to an intra-office service channel 107 and further branched (103). The service channel 108 generated in the relay station is superimposed on the 1st and 2nd line by branching devices 104-106. Moreover, the service channel from a high-order station is controlled by switching SW101a, 101b. If a squelch alarm takes place, the SW100 is changed over and the service channel signal from the high-order is transmitted to the low-order. Thus, the continuity of the service channel is maintained.

(Prior art) Conventionally, in this type of service channel relay system, if a relay station continues to exist, the relay station where the squelch alarm has occurred will not be activated. Since the function to select a different service channel does not work, there is a drawback that in some cases, a service channel signal from a station before the relay station where the squelch alarm has occurred cannot be retrieved.

(Object of the Invention) The present invention is directed to reinserting the service channel signal of the receiving system or other system selected by the relay station into the transmitting system of the system where the squelch alarm occurred in the relay station where the squelch alarm occurred. The present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks and to ensure a service channel at subsequent relay stations.

(hereinafter referred to as ``Structure of the Invention''), which is unique to two wireless lines going in the same direction (hereinafter referred to as the first line and second line), and is a transmission line used for purposes such as meeting telephone calls (hereinafter referred to as service line). means for selecting a service channel using a squelch alarm issued from a reception system (hereinafter referred to as reception system) of a wireless line, as compared to a reception system for which no squelch alarm is issued; Furthermore, the signal of the service channel selected above and the service channel signal generated at the relevant relay station are transmitted to the transmission system of the wireless line connected to the reception system where the squelch alarm is occurring (hereinafter referred to as the transmission system). This is a service channel relay system in a digital microwave communication system in which the fF is equipped with means for combining and inserting.

FIG. 1 shows how relay stations 1 and 2 are continuously connected. For example, when a squelch alarm occurs in the receiving system of the relay station 1, a so-called chess-toppling prevention mechanism in the wireless system is activated, and the relay station 2 has a characteristic that no squelch alarm occurs.
