Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to exhaust the condensate standing in the casing of an exhaust fan outside by a structure wherein heat exchangers and the exhaust fan are arranged in an exhaust tube provided above heat source and a drain hole is provided at the exhaust tube portion locating below the exhaust fan. CONSTITUTION:The major part of moisture in exhaust gas developed by the combustion at a gas burner 1 condenses at an auxiliary heat exchanger 4 so as to fall on a catch pan 10 and then to be disposed. However, part of the moisture also condenses at the portion after the auxiliary heat exchanger 4. If said part of the moisture condenses in the casing 11 of a forced exhaust fan 5 and, as a result, an exhaust fan 5 is soaked in the condensate, the combustion performance may be made unstable and the external leakage through a joint between the casing 11 and an exhaust tube 3 may occur and consequently corrosion may develop. By way of precaution against the above-mentioned troubles, a hole 12 for draining condensate is provided at the lower part of the fan casing 11 so as to prevent the condensate from standing and to easily dispose the condensate in the fan casing, resulting in eliminating the influence to combustion performance and the like.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a hot water heater having a forced exhaust fan.
The purpose of this is to discharge condensed water that accumulates inside the casing of the forced exhaust fan to the outside of the machine.

以下本発明の一実施例について図面に基づき詳細する。An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

In the figure, the exhaust gas combusted by gas burner 1 is transferred to main heat exchanger 2. Exhaust pipe 3. It is discharged to the outside of the machine via the auxiliary heat exchanger 4 by the exhaust fan 6.

On the other hand, as for the flow of hot water, the hot water entering from the return pipe 6 reaches the auxiliary heat exchanger 4, where the latent heat of the exhaust gas of the gas burner is recovered. The hot water passes through the auxiliary heat exchanger 4, passes through the air separator 7 and the circulation pump 8, is heated by the main heat exchanger 2, and then circulates through the outgoing pipe 9 to the heating pipe. The condensed water generated in the auxiliary heat exchanger 4 is collected in a tray 10 and drained. Here, most of the moisture in the exhaust gas is condensed in the auxiliary heat exchanger 4 and falls onto the receiving plate 10 to be treated, but some of it is also condensed in the parts after the auxiliary heat exchanger 4, so the treatment is not done. It becomes a problem. Especially forced exhaust fan 6

There are problems such as leakage and corrosion to the outside from the joint between the exhaust pipe 3 and the exhaust pipe 3.
