    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 前、後輪の一方へは直接動力伝達し、必要に応じてトラ
    ンスファクラッチの保合により上記前、後輪の他方へも
    動力伝達する４輪駆動車において、車速、スロットル開
    度を検出するセンサ、それらの信号に基づいてエンジン
    ブレーキ作用を判断する判定回路、該手足回路の出力信
    号で自動的に切換える切換手段を備え、エンジンブレー
    キ作用時に自動的に４輪駆動に切換えることを特徴とす
    る４輪駆動車の自動切換装置。
