衝被覆層と、該緩衝被覆層のまわりに設けられ耐熱性樹
脂により形成される外部保護層とを有することを特徴と
する耐熱光フアイバユニット。(1) An optical fiber collective unit consisting of a plurality of coated optical fibers assembled together and a buffer layer integrally coated with a buffer layer having a roughly circular cross section; an inner protective layer formed of a fiber-reinforced thermosetting resin including long reinforcing fibers, a buffer coating layer having heat shielding properties provided around the inner protective layer, and a buffer coating layer provided around the buffer coating layer. 1.
