Claims (1)
側に相対回転可能に支持されたアッパコラムと、上端を
上記アッパシャフトに自在接手を介して連結され下端を
ステアリングギヤボックスに連結されたロアシャツ・ト
の外側に相対回転可能に支持され、かつ上端を上記アッ
パコラムの下端に回動自在に枢着されたロアコラム□と
、上記アッパコラム及びロアコラムの一方に固定され第
１の噛合歯を有するロックプレートと、上記アッパコラ
ム及びロアコラムの他方に枢支され上記第１噛合歯と噛
合する第２の噛合歯を有するロックレバ−と、チルト把
手の操作により駆動され、その第１位置において上記第
１及び第２噛合歯を噛合させて上記ロックプレート及び
ロックレバ−を固定関係に保持すると共に、その第２位
置において上記第１及び第２噛合歯の噛合を解除し上記
ロックプレート及びロックレバ−間の自由な相対変位を
許容するカム装置と、上記チルト把手を第２位置から第
１位置に変位させることにより駆動されて上記ロックプ
レートを上記アッパコラム及びロアコラムの他方に対し
摩擦的に当接させる圧接装置とを具えてなることを特徴
