    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. プラテンと対向してサーマルヘッド近傍に設けられた電
    極接点と、少なくとも外周面が導電性を有すると共に該
    外周面に接地されたプラテンと、前記電極接点が接地さ
    れると前記サーマルヘッドをプラテン長手方向に移動さ
    せるキャリッジモータの駆動回路と前記サーマルヘッド
    の発熱動作の駆動回路とを不動作とする制御回路とを備
    えたことを特徴とするサーマルプリンタ。
