Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase both contact pressure and contact length between a V-belt and pulleys to decrease the slip rate of the belt, by arranging V-blocks such that they are biased radially inward with respects to pins. CONSTITUTION:In such an arrangement that V-blocks 4 are biased dowards, in the drawing, with respect pins 3, links 2 are engaged in the V-groove 6 of a V- pulley 7 through low side V-blocks 4 to receive a drive force P, and the tension P of a V-belt 5 acts upon the line connecting between pins 3, 3 at points which are biased from each other with a bias length (l), thereby the links 2 receives a movement (p. l). That is, the links 2 act upon the V-pulleys 7 on the winding sides thereof with a tilting force, and therefore, the V-belt between a pair of V- pulleys are exerted at its both ends with inward tilting force, thereby the slip rate thereof may be reduced.

面で反時計方向の傾動力を作用されて該Vプーリ(7)
に巻付き側に作用される・かくて、全体として1該Vベ
ルト(5)の上側の竿部は例えば第5図示の通りであり
、即ちその中心線入は、遠心力によればその外側の線B
側となるが1前記L7tモーメントによればその内側の
ma側となり、かくて各Vブー!j(7071に対し巻
込み側となる0即ちその接触長さ及び接触圧力が増大す
