た第２の検出手段と、前記第１の検出手段の検出信号に
基づいて始動しキャリヤを一定速度で移送するモータと
、前記第１の検出手段の検出信号の発生後、正規の磁気
テープカセットの終端が第２の検出手段で検出されるべ
き時間を設定するタイマ一手段□ と、該タイマ一手段
による設定時間と前記第２の検出手段による終端検出信
号の発生するタイミン−グを比較する手段とをそれぞれ
備えていることを特徴とする磁気テープカセットの誤挿
