Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the smooth communication even in case the reception fails for a selective call signal sent from a base station, by adding a timer to a mobile station to secure the automatic release of said call signal. CONSTITUTION:A timer 8 is provided to a call part 4 to be selected and then started at a time point when another selective call signal (clock signal) is received. Then a signal is delivered to a selection release control part 7 after a fixed period of time. The part 7 controls the part 4 by the signals supplied from the part 4 and the timer 8. Thus a sound output is delivered from a speaker 6 for monitor of other channels. At the same time, a transmission/reception operation is possible. Thus it is possible to attain the smooth communication even in case the reception fails for the selective call signal sent from a base station.
