拡大図である。 １・・・オイルの掻落し用エツジ、２・・・ステップ切
欠き、３・・・ステップ切欠きの限界面、４・・・リン
グの下面、５・・・リングの周面、β・・・リングの下
面と限界面との間の角、ｒ・・・リングの周面の摩耗量
がＷとなったときにおけるオイルの掻落し用エツジの頂
角の増加量。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 切欠きの限界面３がリングの下面４に対し鈍角βをなし
    て傾くステップ切欠き２をオイルの掻落し用エツピ１を
    含む部位に設け、リングの周面５よりステップ切欠きの
    限界面３に至る距離Ｗを機関のオーバホールを行うべき
    状態に至るまでのリングの摩耗量に対応させて選定した
    ことを特徴とする、テーパフェース型ピストンリング。
