PURPOSE:To discriminate an originating subscriber and to prescribe correctly an originating call destination to said subscriber, by reading an ID card issued to the originating subscriber by a card reader attached to each extension telephone connected to a private branch exchange. CONSTITUTION:A card reader 2 and a PB signal generator 3 are connected to each extension telephone 1 connected to a private branch exchange 5 via a changeover switch 4. When the telephone 1 is hooked off and dialing is given to an outside line, the switch 4 is automatically switched to the side of the reader 2. An originating subscriber reads his/her own ID card through the reader 2 and converts the contents of the card into PB signals through the generator 3. These PB signals are received by a PB signal receiver 7 of the exchange 5.
