は高度のクリーニング性能を維持していた。それは感光
体の表面に付着した残留トナーをファーブラシで掃き落
としてクラウド状にすると共に、このクラウド枦のトナ
ーをプロワ−の吸引力によって0引して除去するように
構成されていたためで、そのためには大容量のプロワ−
モーターが必要となシ、このモーターは消費電力が高く
又騒音も大きいといった欠点があった。そこでこの欠点
を避けるためにプロワ−モーターを小型化し、消費電力
及び騒音を小さくしたものが衰在考案されているが、こ
のものは従来のものに比較して風量が落ちる欠点があり
、この風量が落ちるとクリーナーの内壁にトナーが堆積
してしまうので、従来はこれを防止する平段として第1
図に示すようにファーブラシ1と−・ウジング2との間
に三相の電界力1−テンシート3を設け、該シート3中
に点在させた!li群4・・・には三相交流の高電圧U
、V、W相を印加して電屓の力によりトナーを振動させ
てブラシ1の回転方向と同方向にトナーを飛散搬送させ
る方法が採用されていた。しかしながら、この装置は所
期の目的を達成させるためには三相の、しかも高電圧を
必要とするため、電源が大きくなってしまう欠点があシ
、この電源が大きくなることは複写機を小型化しようと
する際、これを妨害する一つの原因となっていた。

能は従来のこの種のクリーニング装置と比較して優ると
も劣らないクリーニング装置を提供することを目的とし
たものである。

テフロン等の絶縁性繊維ブラシ5bを植毛し、該絶縁性
繊維ブラシ5bの一部に5A7(商品名)等の導電性繊
維ブラシ5Cを植毛したもので、この導電性繊維ブラシ
5Cの存在幅は円周上2膿ぐらいとし、且つこの導電性
繊維ブラシ5Cは前記アルミパイプ5aを介して接地し
ておく。そしてこのファーブラシ5の外径は約80φ、
回転数は500rpmぐらいとする。一方図中7は前記
ファーブラシ5の外周に配置したハウジングであシ、該
ハウジング7の内側壁には電界カーテンシート8を配置
する。この電界カーテンシート8はマイラシート等の中
に銅等の電極8a・・・を埋め込んだもので、電極8a
・・・間の距離は3■ぐらいにする。又この電極8a・
・・は電源9に接続しておく。この接続は単相接続であ
り、電源9からの印加電圧は約4KVの交流(50TT
Z)とする。又前記ファーブラシ5の外周先端と電界カ
ーテンシート8との距離は約2−ぐらいにもうける。

5とによって、これを行なうものであるから搬送効率が
良いといった効果も有する。
