第１図は印刷装置の概略構成を示す正面図、第２図は本
考案用紙終端検出装置の一実施例を示すブロック図であ
る。図において、１は活字ドラム、２は上側トラクタ、
３は下側トラクタ、４はハンマ、５は用紙、６は用紙終
端検出器、７は用紙制御用メモリ、８は用紙送り信号発
生器、９．１０゜１６．２０はフリップフロップ、１１
はリセット信号発生器、１２．１７はアンドゲート、１
３゜１８はカウンタ、１４はＲＯＭ、１５は用紙終端検
出回路、１９はコンパレータである。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 印字位置より所定間隔手前にて用紙終端を検出する用紙
    終端検出器と、用紙制御用メモリより用紙１頁分の長さ
    を判断する手段と、１頁分の長さに応じたデータを出力
    するメモリと、前記検出器が用紙終端を検出した後の用
    紙送り頁数をカウントする手段とを備え、連続用紙に印
    字を行う印刷装置において、前記用紙終端検出器により
    用紙の終端を検出しても、ただちに用紙終端と認識せず
    、前記用紙１頁分の長さを検出する回路によりある値の
    データを出力するメモリと、用紙終端検出後の用紙送り
    頁数とを比較し用紙１頁分の長さを加味して用紙終端を
    認識し、白紙となる無駄頁を最少にすることを特徴とし
    た用紙終端検出装置。
