Abstract

PURPOSE:When winding tape over linear material such as a cable core or a strand, to protect the linear material from damage by feeding the linear material and tape through independent path in a hollow shaft thereby eliminating contact between them. CONSTITUTION:A tape winder 10 is provided with a hollow shaft 16 for passing a linear material 1 supported rotatably by supporting frames 12, 12' and two tape containing reels 18, 18' fixed rotatably onto said shaft 16.
