A front cover is rotatably provided on a cassette case having a cutout at a predetermined position, and a slider is provided on the cassette 2 case so as to be slidable, and the cutout is opened and closed by the front cover and the slider. In the tape cassette, a sliding regulating lever is rotatably provided on the slider, a locking portion is provided on the cassette cassette in relation to the sliding regulating lever, and the sliding regulating lever is attached.
