一側が開口された樋状の主反射鏡内に管形電球を配置し
、この管形電球により放射された光を複写原稿を載置す
る透光性載置板に集光させ、上記複写原・稿によって反
射された光をレンズなどの光学系にり感光体ドラムに結
像させるとともに、上記主反射鏡の上面に主反射鏡の開
口縁からの進退量が調整されて前記透光性載置板に向か
う光を調光する調光板を設け、かつ上記主反射鏡に上記
複写原稿にて反射された光の一部を透過して光センサに
導びく光透過窓を開口した複写機の照明装置において、
前記調光板には上記光透過窓に対応する位置に、透光性
載置板に向かう光量を −６増大させるための切欠部を
