PURPOSE:To take out the jammed paper without breaking, by pressing a driven roller pressure contacting with drive roller in reverse direction from the pressure contacting direction upon opening of an open/close member. CONSTITUTION:An open/close member 12 provided with feed roller and paper discharge roller 10 in a paper carrier for copier or facsimile is made rotatable around the rotary shaft 10a of drive roller such as paper discharge roller to be opened/closed freely while a pressure contact releasing member 18 such as eccentric cam lever, etc. is projected at the side of pressure contacting driven roller 11 such as a pinch roller.
