字した後、この証書を証書発行口から発行する証書発行
装置にiいて、前記ホッパから繰出された証書の2重送
りをホッパと印字部との間で検知する2重送り検知手段
と、この2重送り検知手段付近に配置されていて証書を
印字部の方向及びこれと反対の方向に搬送可能とした証
書搬送手段と、前記ホッパと同一側に設けられた回収部
と、ホッパと回収部との間に設けられた回動可能なブレ
ードとを備え、証書の2重送りが2重送り検知手段で検
知されると、ブレードの角度が証書を回収部に導びく角
度に切替ると共に証書搬送手段が証書を印字部と逆方向
に送って回収部に回収するようにしたことを特徴とする
証書発行装置。 22重送り検知手段が証書搬送路に沿って配設された2
組の光学的センサによって構成され、かつ一方のセンサ
と他方のセンサとの間の距離が1枚の証書の長さよりわ
