(Prior Art) As a conventional method for connecting waterproof cables, there is a method using an injection molding method. In this method, the outer sheath of the connecting end of the cable is removed to expose each core wire, the core wires are soldered together, and then the soldered parts are set in a mold and molded. The connection structure obtained by this method had the advantage of being highly reliable.

However, although this connection method is effective when connecting large-diameter coaxial cables, etc., or when connecting work in a large area,
For example, it may be difficult to connect thin cables of about 1.0 to 5.0 m/mφ or in a narrow space, but even if the cables can be connected using this method, However, the mold is expensive, the number of man-hours required to manufacture it is large, and the cables that can be used for it are restricted.

Therefore, in such cases, the cable and the housing can be connected by storing the soldered cable core wire inside the housing, attaching a QIJ ring or gasket, etc. to the cable pull-out part inside the housing, and mechanically tightening it. It was designed to hold water and nectar. However, even with this method, it is not always possible to maintain complete watertightness, resulting in low reliability and disadvantages in that it requires a large number of parts and a large number of assembly steps.

(Objective of the present invention) In order to solve these drawbacks, the present invention fixes the soldered cable core wire in a case made of comb-based resin or thermoplastic resin, and injects thermoplastic resin into the case. By filling the cable with a hot-melt adhesive, complete watertightness can be obtained, and a high-quality, low-cost waterproof cable connection method is provided.

(Structure of the Invention) The structure of the present invention is to remove the jackets at the ends of waterproof cables to be connected, expose each core wire, connect the core wires to each other by soldering, and then connect the core wires to each other by soldering. A waterproof cable characterized in that the core wire portion is covered with a case having an injection port and a core wire fixing part, the waterproof cable is fixed to the case, and the case is filled with adhesive from the injection port and sealed. This is the connection method. This will be explained in detail below.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2(a), there is a protrusion 4 in the center of the case for preventing short-circuiting of the core wire and for fixing the core wire, and a recess for fixing the waterproof cable 1 in the end of the case. As shown in FIG. 3, the waterproof cable 1 connected by soldering is fixed in a case 7 made of a rubber material or a thermoplastic resin provided with 5 and 6.

Next, a thermoplastic hot-melt adhesive 9 that has been heated and melted in advance is applied using, for example, a low-pressure molding gun.
The case 7 is filled. As a result, the case 7 is contracted by heat, and the waterproof cable 1 and the hot melt adhesive 9 are melted and bonded. After doing this, if these are cooled, a long-term stable connection structure can be obtained due to the residual shrinkage stress of the case 7.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, in the soldering process, the core wires of connected waterproof cables are covered with a heat-shrinkable case, and the case is filled with a thermoplastic hot-melt adhesive. This connection method ensures that the adhesive is fused to the waterproof cable, ensuring complete water retention. For example, water pressure 10 (l kg
This has the effect of realizing a highly reliable connection structure in which water does not seep into the core wire even under an environment of 7 cm2.

In addition, the system has the advantage of being easy to connect thin wire cables and connecting work in narrow spaces, so there are no restrictions on the cables that can be used, and the number of parts is small, making work easier. However, a rubber or thermoplastic resin case has the advantage that it can be obtained at a much lower cost than a molded case.
