Conventional Structure and Problems Conventionally, in this type of clothes dryer, the relationship between changes in heater power and the corresponding temperature inside the clothes storage during drying operation is as shown in Figures 1A and B. At the same time as the drying operation starts, all heaters are energized, and when the drying is about to end, the clothes storage temperature reaches a preset temperature (
For example, when the temperature exceeds T-70 to 80°C, it is common to temporarily stop the current supply and then shift to a temperature control operation in which the heater is repeatedly turned on and off.

For this reason, the change in temperature inside the clothes storage during drying operation is the first.
As shown in Figure B, (a) a preheating period during which the temperature of the dryer body and the material to be dried rises rapidly, and (b) a balance between the water evaporation energy (latent heat of vaporization) of the material to be dried and the heating energy by the heater. (C) a constant rate drying period in which the temperature is stable; and (C) a decreasing rate drying period in which the energy balance is disrupted as the drying progresses and water evaporation decreases, causing the temperature to rise rapidly again.
There will be a characteristic temperature change consisting of three stages.

In other words, the temperature rise during this period is due to the drying end i1
Clothes with a low water content of tflf are heated rapidly, which promotes damage to the clothes and is one of the causes of wrinkles and shrinkage. Furthermore, during this period, the heating energy doubles the moisture evaporation energy, which results in the addition of extra energy, which is a major problem from the point of view of energy conservation. As a means to solve such problems, when the operation reaches a predetermined time or the inside of the storage reaches a predetermined temperature, it is assumed that the lapse rate drying period has entered and the power supply to the heater is restricted. Furthermore, a system has been proposed that uses various sensors to monitor the temperature rise rate during constant rate drying, detect the early stage of the decreasing rate drying period, and control it (Utility Model Publication No. 56-136795.
-149,000), but none of them can be said to be sufficient. That is, the time to enter heater control,
If the temperature is set in advance, changes in room temperature,
There are large variations in drying time and temperature due to differences in the type and amount of fabric, and it is difficult to correct this. Furthermore, when trying to detect the initial stage of the lapse rate period with a sensor, it is important to note that, depending on the type of fabric, the temperature rises only slowly after constant rate drying, as shown by the broken line in Figure 1B. In many cases, it is not clear whether the waning rate period begins or not, and in order to forcefully limit the beginning of the waning rate period, it is necessary to make a comprehensive judgment using several types of sensors, which can be complicated and expensive. I don't have a colander.

In order to achieve [Object 1] of [Unique features of the invention], the clothes dryer of the present invention includes a clothes storage, a blower, a heat source for heating, and a clothes storage in or near the clothes storage. The humidity detection device used to detect the temperature and the temperature detected by this temperature detection device i'lt during the constant rate drying period are used as a reference value, and the output of the temperature detection device in the subsequent drying process is set to this reference value or to this. The heat source includes a controller that controls the input of the heat source so that the input is equal to or less than the value obtained by adding a certain value.

In other words, it is easy to recognize the period during which the temperature inside the refrigerator is almost constant after energizing all the heaters (constant rate drying period), and the control to keep the temperature inside the refrigerator at this time or the humidity slightly higher than this is necessary. It is clear that, if left alone, it will work effectively during the lapse rate drying period where the temperature rises above these temperatures.

The operation of the above configuration will be explained with reference to FIG. 3 as well. First, when the items to be dried are placed in the clothes storage (1) and the drying operation is started, the controller (7) starts energizing the heater (4) and motor (2), and At the same time as W enters, motor (2)
The clothes storage cabinet (1) and the air blower (3) are rotationally driven. As a result, the air pumped in from outside the machine is heated by the heater (4), evaporates the moisture from the items to be dried in the clothes storage compartment (1), and then passes through the blower (3) and the exhaust passage (6) to the outside of the machine. is exhausted to. During this time, the humidity inside the clothes storage (1) rapidly increases, enters a constant rate drying period, and becomes stable. At this time, the controller (7) detects the temperature '1゛0 in the clothes storage (]) at the 8 point shown in FIG. The output is used as a reference value and a fixed value (for example, 3°
C to 4° C.) is set and stored. After that, when the drying operation or the lapse rate drying period begins and the temperature rises and the humidity detecting device (5) generates a detection output corresponding to the set value TI described in 17ij, the controller (7) that receives this output 4;I In this case, the heater power is switched and controlled between W and -JW. Note that in the case of a cloth exhibiting a gradual temperature change as shown by the broken line in FIG. 1, the temperature is controlled a little earlier as shown by the broken line in FIG.

Here, in the embodiment, a case has been shown in which the temperature in the clothes storage (1) is controlled by switching between the heaters W and 1W manually, but this switching may also be performed between W and O. Gradual decrease/gradual increase control of the heater's manual power may also be used. As described above, if the control method is based on the humidity during the constant rate drying period, the heater can be effectively controlled during the decreasing rate drying period without detecting the start of the decreasing rate drying period itself. Further, the transition point from the preheating period to the constant rate drying period, which is the time reference for setting the control temperature, can be relatively clearly determined even if the types of fabrics are different. Even in the case of a gradual humidity change (from l'M rate drying to lapse rate drying) as shown by the broken line in Figure 3, the value to be added to the reference value ('l''+ -TO in Figure 3) Control can be started with high accuracy if the value (corresponding to Since the settings are made automatically, the settings take into account all conditions such as room temperature, type of cloth, amount, etc., and it is clear that variations in the drying state due to settings are extremely small.

A specific method for determining the constant rate drying period is to determine the rate of change in the output of the temperature detection device (5), that is, the point at which the slope of the temperature curve in Figure 3 becomes less than a predetermined value, or the point at which it remains constant. The detection deviation after time is good, and a single sensor (

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above embodiments, the clothes dryer of the present invention detects the temperature during the constant rate drying period using a humidity detection device installed in or near the clothes storage, and uses this temperature as well. By manually controlling the heater temperature to below a predetermined temperature, we provide a clothes dryer that reduces fabric damage, wrinkles, and shrinkage and is highly energy-saving. It is a temperature control based on , and enables efficient clothes drying that is not affected by room temperature, amount of cloth, type, etc., with a rational and inexpensive configuration.
