中心に対して偏心量ｅだけ偏心した位置に外側主軸８に
対して回転自在に、かつ外側主軸８と一体状に回転する
ように嵌挿した内側主軸７と、この内側主軸７の先端で
、かつ内側主軸７の中心に対して偏心した位置に設けた
工具取付穴９に装着される工具Ａと、また内側主軸７の
基端部に、この内側主軸７と同心状に固着した従動歯車
２２と、この従動歯車２２に回転動力を伝達する歯車機
構と、上記外側主軸８に対して内側主軸７を回転するた
めの内側主軸回転機構とからなる工具径可変形主軸装置
において、外側主軸８の基端部で、かつ内側主軸７の偏
心嵌挿位置に対する軸直角方向反対側に、外側主軸８の
軸心に対する従動歯車２２の偏心質量と同等の質量を有
するバランスウェイト２−８を設けたことを特徴とする
