Claims

A motor body, an output shaft that protrudes long from the motor body, a blade attached to the tip of the output shaft and arranged in a ventilation passage, and a blade provided around the output shaft adjacent to the ventilation passage. The insulation case is attached to the motor body side of the insulation case with a space left between the oil seal for the output shaft provided in the insulation case and the motor body. An electric fan comprising: a heat insulating plate defining a heat insulating material housing section around the output shaft; and a heat insulating material accommodated in the heat insulating material housing section.
